As concern for protecting the natural environment grows, demands grows for waste and recycling services. To deliver these services, Cornwall Council uses our Capital Projects Delivery team to setup local welfare and office units at key recycling locations.
Recently, we've been working on an office unit for Cornwall Council at Suez Recycling site in East Taphouse, Liskeard. So far we have constructed a new reinforced concrete slab, set up a new welfare and office unit and connected utilities to the site. Chough House
Truro Emergency Housing Solutions Case Study
We deliver refurbishment projects for clients across Cornwall and have recently work on refurbishing Chough House in Truro. This project involved refurbishing a former three-storey office into an accommodation unit for those at risk of homelessness.
We installed nine bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and kitchenettes to provide a safe place for single individuals at risk of homelessness. The site is now fully supportive of residents and staff with an accessible bedroom on the ground floor, communal lounges and kitchens, laundry facilities, meeting rooms and office spaces.

Newquay Property Refurbishment for Cornwall Council
When Cornwall Council faced a demand for social housing in Newquay, Corserv Facilities was able to support them by managing a refurbishment project at Nor Manor, Newquay. We refurbished a former holiday site with two flats and a garage into 11 new flats, including a garage conversion and various infrastructure improvements. We can provide refurbishment and voids services across Cornwall and planning and cost consultation. We can also deliver facilities and appliance servicing and aftercare services for properties including private rentals.

South Hendra Farm in Liskeard, Cornwall needed to replace their Dairy complex extension, which was a failed structure adjoining the existing dairy complex. To maximise their dairy productivity and improve animal welfare, the new building needed to be structurally sound and functionally improved compared to the demolished one.
